Roberto Tavazzi (ITA-665) è istruttore federale FIV di windsurf e vela dal 1998 e co-fondatore del Windsurfing Center Stintino in Sardegna, fondato nel 1987. Insieme a Gian Paolo Unali, ha avuto un ruolo chiave nella promozione del windsurf e della vela in Italia. Atleta FIV, Tavazzi ha partecipato a regate nazionali del Circuito Italiano Funboard (CIF), mondiali ed europei Funboard e competizioni internazionali PWA, portando prestigio al centro velico di Stintino con i suoi successi. Negli anni ’90 è stato Campione Italiano Master e ha maturato una solida esperienza in regate su barche a vela e catamarani. Negli anni ’80 nella vela ha regatato su Azzurra con il team di Cino Ricci in numerose regate nazionali e internazionali, partecipando anche nella classe J24.

Il mare della Pelosa a Stintino è sempre stata la sua palestra ideale, ma ha potuto migliorare il suo livello grazie alla assidua frequentazione di spot internazionali come Barbados, Cape Town (Sudafrica), Gran Canaria, Tenerife e Maui (USA). Il Windsurfing Center Stintino offre lezioni di windsurf, vela su catamarano ed escursioni nel Parco Nazionale dell’Asinara. Tavazzi e il suo team hanno formato numerosi atleti, alimentando una forte passione per gli sport acquatici. Il centro è noto anche per l’organizzazione di regate zonali e nazionali, in particolare nelle discipline di slalom e velocità, come il Stintino Contest e il circuito sardo slalom.
